4 Months

4 Months
Such a solid boy! 95% height (26 3/4in) // 75% weight (15.5lbs) // 55% head (16 3/4in)
Rolls from front to back (he hates tummy time!)
He got a "big boy" carseat! We switched to the Chicco NextFit Rear Facing, he tolerates it a little better but he still HATES the car. The song "Holocene" by Bon Iver works magic with him. It calms him down almost instantly.
He is obsessed with his saucer/jumper. He loves playing in it.
He's eating rice cereal and sweet potatoes and he loves it!
He also loves pretzels. Hard pretzels. (obviously just to suck)
Still fighting sleep. And not napping (unless I'm holding him the entire time). And waking up a ton in the night.
Still loves to stand.
He loves to sit now too! (not on his own yet)
His right pointer finger is his best friend. It's also his favorite thing to eat.
He's really found his voice this last month and it's the cutest thing! He just screams and squeals.
He had his first cold this last month and it broke my heart. He picked it up from me and I've never felt more guilty. It was so sad to hear his little coughs and sniffles.
Tried his first piece of chocolate licorice and LOVED it! If you know my family, you know how strong our love for chocolate licorice is.

3 Months

3 Months
Over being swaddled.
Still HATES the car. He will literally cry the entire car ride. Regardless if it's 5 minutes or 40 minutes.
He had his first giggle! Oh my cute! Another heart burster.
Loves standing up. Seriously, how can his legs be so strong?
Being held 24/7 is a must for him. Putting him down is the end of the world for him, so dramatic!
His favorite place to hang out is on the couch. He loves to just sit there in dad's spot, it's the only place he's not screaming when you put him down.
Teething started, and oh how fun it is!
He's started to "coo" so much, the cutest sounds!
He fights sleep like crazy. This kid does not want to miss a thing!
He's sleeping longer hours, probably because he isn't waking up starving.
He naps best in our bed. Especially if we're in the bed with him. He's so funny.
Grasping objects and really starting to examine them.
Formula is going pretty smoothly. Much better than nursing. We're putting rice in his bottles to help keep everything down, Hyde is a huge spitter!
