Hyde's 1st Birthday!

Hyde is obsessed with balls, OBSESSED! So what better theme to use for his first birthday party? We went with bright colors and all things ball shaped! It was a fun day spent with all the people who love Hyde the most! (All 60ish of them) He's a lucky boy to have so many great people in his life! We had a lot of help from family and friends, and I'm grateful for them all! I still can't believe my baby is ONE!!

On Hyde's actual birthday, we started off with sprinkle pancakes! We then spent some time at the zoo before he had to go get his 12 month shots. And the day was finished off with pizza, presents, and cake!

12 Months

Top teeth are still working on coming through.
He still isn't walking. (he can, just won't) Which is okay, his crawl is the best.
He's hilarious and knows it.
He's still an outside boy. He loves walks, watching cars, and playing in his ball pit/tramp.
He's turning into a little fish, he loves his swimming lessons!
He is still such a screamer, it's so funny.
He loves bath time, that's usually when he is most talkative.
Still lots of cute gibberish.
He loves avocados, watermelon, and eggs. (and anything we are eating)
He's started loving to play with cars, he'll push them all around the house.
Balls are still one of his favorites.
He loves books right now, especially ones with flaps.
He's really good at saying "more".
He's obsessed with bottled water, lots of "more" and "mmm" when he's drinking out of them. He also loves playing with empty ones.
He's really into putting lids on things or putting smaller items in larger items.

He's gotten super sensitive to any disiplinary tone. 
And he's becoming more and more of a mama's boy!

11 Months

Says "dad" and knows who Dad is.
Says "mama", "ca" (car), and his own version of "all done"
Makes up his own jibberish
Still so busy! He's loving trying to take things off the table and counter! Yep, he can reach the counter.
Still obsessed with balls
STILL working on his top teeth.
He's so over baby food. It's basically what we're eating, or nothing. He's really good at pushing your hand away or throwing food he doesn't want.
He gives the best loves! He's the sweetest
His hair is coming in so much, and he still has his rooster tail
He gets up on his knees a lot, and then puts one foot out, like he is going to stand up, but still not very sturdy on his own
He is obsessed with being outside. He could stay out there allllll day. And he loves cars! Anytime one drives by he gets so excited.
He's dancing, clapping, and pointing. He learned "so big" (puts his hands up in the air)
He mimicks everything
And he knows when he isn't supposed to do something. He'll look at us and smile/laugh, then hurry and do it anyway. Or jump when we say his name.
Kids/babies are still one of his favorite things.
And one of his favorite toys right now is our little fire safe. He loves grabbing the keys and trying to put them in the lock. (Literally like 30 minutes of entertainment for him)
He started swim lessons! And loves it.
He's doing a lot better with independent play

10 Months

He's a screamer! He does this really funny squinty face when he screams.
He fake laughs with us.
Top teeth are working their way out.
He's so speedy! He's got his "crawl" down.
He pulls himself up on everything! And is really good at moving around when he's holding onto something.
No signs of walking on his own yet, and i'm completely okay with that!
He is obsessed with giving babies kisses and loves.
He LOVES outside. That's all he wants to do. He goes to the front door and bangs on it.
He discovered the toilet and goes straight for it anytime he passes the bathroom.
He's still so obsessed with balls.
He'll only eat his food if its off of a "big spoon". But he still prefers our food.

9 Months

He's got the funniest crawl! But he's got it down and is FAST! He scoots with his butt.
He is all over the house and into everything.
He loves climbing and pulling himself up on our bookshelves, dressers, and couches.
He bumps his head at least 3 times a day, so much anxiety!
He's loves attention. He'll work hard to get your attention and once he does, he's over you.
He also loves the dishwasher. Whenever I do the dishes he makes his way over and wants to "help".
He loves anything he isn't supposed to have.
He also LOVES balls. He's obsessed! He just chases them around the house most of the day. And when we go to the little gym, he literally has to grab and taste every. Single. Ball.
He's getting more independent, until he sees me.
He's got tantrum throwing down! He can turn the scream on and off .
He fake laughs with us and tries to mimic other things.
He started clicking his tongue too.
No words yet, but he's close to "Dada". He babbles like crazy. And loves to happy scream.
He loves to play with Dad!
He loves the bath still, but wants I stand up the entire time, which makes for very short baths.
He's still doing great with sleeping and putting himself down!
He loves eating! Still more our food over his.
Diaper changes are a wreck. He wiggles and squirms (and screams) until he ends up getting away with no diaper on.
He's started to dance and clap!
Oh and he got two teeth! The two bottom ones.

8 Months

Busiest boy! Now that he's figured out how to move, he never stops.
He's getting around with an army crawl. If he sees something he wants, or if I leave the room, he can make his way to it/after me.
Sitting up like a pro. He's figured out how to get from laying down to sitting up!
He's a climber! He loves climbing on me. Even when I'm holding him.
He's obsessed with dogs.
He loves eating too. Anything that isn't baby food is extremely disireable to him.
Still loves puffs, but prefers rice husks.
He's wild in his walker! Running and screaming all over the house.
He is sleeping great, he even puts himself down now!
He's in size 4 diapers and just about out of size 6-12 month pants and 9 month jammies.
He's getting so good at standing. He's still wobbly and needs support, but soon enough he'll be standing on his own?
He's so much more interactive and observant. He is really into mimicking too. And he just talks and talks. And screams. All baby jibberish of course.
He gives big, slobbery kisses too.

7 Months

Sitting up so well!
Standing assisted on things. Very assisted
Not really into crawling, he's good at scooting backwards.
Cruising in his walker! He goes around the house and then comes back to me when he's ready for more puffs.
He LOVES puffs.
He loves the bath too. He just sits and stares at and feels the water coming out of the faucet.
He's doing really well with sleep. He'll wake up 1 or 2 times a night. And most days he does great with 3 naps.
It's been a rough few weeks for teething. Soooo much drool!
Anywhere we go, he just wants to get down. He thinks he can run with the big kids.
He is loving assisted walking!
He's starting to be silly, I love it. I swear he has figured out how to fake laugh.
He talks and talks (just jibberish and groaning most of the time) he has so much to say.
